Ingredients in the Zombie may vary, but a popular recipe includes 1 ¼ oz lemon juice 1 oz dark rum, orange juice ¾ oz, ½ oz cherry brandy, ½ oz rum ½ oz high proof dark rum and 2 dashes of grenadine.
Mai Tai
Another popular drink by Donn Beach Tiki, the Mai Tai is another drink, first served in 1930. The word "maitai" translated from English to Tahiti means "good", which is an appropriate name for the drink. One of the many Mai Tai recipe includes 1 oz Jamaican rum, 1 oz of rum from Martinique, ½ oz Orange Curacao, ½ ounce almond syrup, ¼ oz sugar syrup candy, juice 1 lime. A sprig of fresh mint can be added as well.
Navy Grog
The first time in the 1700s by an admiral of the Royal Navy in Britain, this unique drink withstood the test of time. Many versions of the drink and are a popular recipe includes 1 oz grapefruit, 1 oz orange juice ½ oz Grand Marnier 1 ounce pineapple juice and a ½ oz of 3 types of Rum, Light Rum, Gold Rum and Dark Rum.
151 Swizzle
But another popular beverage in the Tiki bar, first served by Donn Beach after a trip to Montego Bay for inspiration. The Swizzle 151 can be made of several different ways and a popular recipe for this drink contains interesting: ½ oz sugar syrup, ½ oz lime juice, 1 / 8 c. Pernod Tea, 1.5 oz Demerara rum 151, a stroke of Angostura bitters and a pinch of ground nutmeg.
