Antique German Beer Steins

Antique German Beer SteinsI have two old German beer steins that are glued to a lamp base. What is the best way to remove them?

I have two old German beer steins that have been stuck for the last 40 years to a lamp base, I want to delete them from the base without damaging them, I can not force them to lose as I see it-

suggestions on how I can get them off the lamp base without injury?

soaked in a varnish and thinner perhaps? You could try nail polish remover too. Anyway, do so in a well ventilated area.

Go to local hardware Lowes, get a can of Goof Off Remover. Pour around the base and repeat for a couple of days, what separates the base. I use the same technique on the toilet Porceliner.

I have 2 Schloss beer steins stamped on the bottom with two arrows and # "5084". One is a "Schloss Anholt" and one is a "Schloss Lembeck." These have metal lid.

Could you give me an idea what the estimated worth of these might be?

Thank you
