Beer Brittle

My father loves beer fragile in a local candy store. I would make him one from scratch for Christmas.

Here you go:

Beer Brittle Recipe

2 v. sugar
1 tsp light corn syrup
1 tsp ***** Modelo (or your favorite beer flavorfull)
1 / 2 c. salt
1 / 8 c. Tea (or more to taste) ground chipotle pepper
1 tsp tea. baking soda
1 tbsp. butter
1 tsp tea. vanilla.

Butter 2 cookie sheets.

In a large saucepan, combine corn syrup, sugar, and beer. Cook until sugar dissolves, stirring contstantly.

Add peanuts, salt and chipotle pepper. Cook to hard-crack stage (300F), stirring occasionally. Add soda, butter and vanilla and mix well.

Pour onto prepared cookie sheet while warm sweater (or push) to the desired thickness. When cool, crack into pieces.
