The benefits of beer

Each year, more and more studies are underway on the benefits of beer. Although drinkers of red wine have been boasting for some time about the benefits of their choice of alcohol, it now seems that beer drinkers will finally turn in the spotlight. There is now evidence that moderate consumption of alcohol is good for heart health, no matter if you drink beer or wine.

The good news is that moderate alcohol consumption is beneficial for your heart. Moderate drinkers reduce their risk of heart attack and heart disease compared to people who do not drink at all, or those who are heavy drinkers. For equal amounts of alcohol, beer double the antioxidants in white wine, and antioxidants may be able to be absorbed by the body more quickly than red wine. Beer contains no fat or cholesterol.

Moderate consumption of alcohol is defined as two drinks per day for men and one drink per day for women. Moderate drinkers reduced their risk of heart disease by between thirty and sixty per cent, even those who were considered high risk due to a heart attack, heart disease or diabetes. In other studies, the beer has helped people to build bone mass. It seems that this is due to the silicon content of beer.

The beer contains large amounts of antioxidants that prevent cell damage that leads to certain cancers and heart disease. Antioxidants derived from hops and malt used in brewing beer. Other antioxidants known as polyphenols, which are also present in vegetables, fruits, green and black teas, and wine, are present in beer as well.

In another study, which lasted twelve years, both the light and moderate consumption of beer reduces the risk of diabetes than thirty-six per cent. The beer consumption at moderate levels is connected to a reduction in insulin resistance.

In addition, moderate consumption of beer is connected to an improvement in memory and thinking. It is hoped that this improvement may help protect people against an ischemic stroke, which is responsible for ninety percent of all cases Stoke. It is also possible that the same levels of moderate alcohol consumption may help protect against Alzheimer's disease and other causes of dementia.

A study conducted at the University of Wisconsin found that the benefits of moderate consumption of beer were more prevalent in dark beers as light beer. Guinness, for example, has very high levels of flavonoids. These flavonoids are also present in some fruits and vegetables, but not much in the lighter beers. Guinness lower level of bad cholesterol, and was twice as effective as Heineken, a lighter beer in the reduction of substances related to clogged arteries.

Many people have believed for years that beer was as effective as the wine in its health benefits are many, these theories are now proven by scientific facts. But whether these benefits are related to moderate consumption of alcohol, they are not tired to more consumption. This means that eating twice as much is not twice as good for you.
