Beer Glasses For Sale

Do not get me wrong, I like to drink a few glasses a night and have been known to get drunk, but I was wondering .... having visited a country in Europe which has seriously restricted the sale of liquor and beer sales were heavily taxed (at a point where it is simply a processing time to time) and saw such a different culture with people in their daily life .. .. it made me wonder whether such an approach could never happen in the United Kingdom?

Thinking about saving the health service not to mention the improved health of populations as a whole, the police being able to fight against real crime rather than anti-social or problems with drunkenness and generally just a more desirable atmosphere for everyone.

I am in no way suggest ban or something like that, "it would be socially acceptable to have one or two glasses of wine with a meal in a restaurant .... if the UK is more a culture of coffee, would not that the way forward?

Who knows .... such an approach may even make me lose that beer belly "Damn!

Yes we should be more healthy as Europeans.

The maximum number of deaths worldwide related to one particular cause is due to the consumption of alcohol. Millions of people die every year only because of alcohol. Cardiomyopathy, hypertension, coronary atherosclerosis, angina and heart attacks are linked to alcohol intake.

Strokes, apoplexy, convulsions and various types of paralysis are linked to alcohol consumption.

Peripheral neuropathy, cortical atrophy, atrophy of the cerebellum are well-known syndromes caused by consumption of alcohol.

Wernicke - Korsakoff syndrome with amnesia of recent events, confabulations and retention of memory of past events with different types of paralysis are mainly due to thiamine deficiency due to excessive alcohol consumption.

Beriberi and other deficiencies are not uncommon among alcoholics. Even Pellagra occurs in alcoholics.

Delerium Tremens is a serious complication that can occur during recurrent infection of alcoholics or post operatively. It also occurs during abstention as a sign of withdrawal effect. It is very serious and can cause death even if treated in well equipped centers.

Many endocrine disorders have been associated with alcoholism ranging from Myxodema to hyperthyroidism and Cushing's syndrome flowers.

Hematological ill effects are long and variable. Deficiency of folic acid, however, is the most common manifestation of alcoholic abuse resulting in macrocytic anemia. Zeive syndrome is a triad of hemolytic anemia, jaundice and Hyperlipaedemia following drinking.

The commonly used tablet metronidazole (Flagyl) interacts badly with alcohol.
