What is biodynamic wine? First, we must explain what a biodynamic wine. A biodynamic wine is a wine made from grapes grown in biodynamics.
Biodynamic vineyards are the same as organic vineyards - to produce grapes from which used to make wine without the use of synthetic additives. The only difference between organic and biodynamic vineyards is that on biodynamic work in the vineyard is timed to coincide with the natural rhythms of the Earth while the vine is receptive to what the grower is asked to do. These natural rhythms is determined by the position of the moon, the sun and planets as well as earth. Thus, while organic producers are primarily concerned with the soil - in other words what is happening beneath their feet - Biodynamists also worry about what is happening above their heads.
Biodynamic farmers believe that the influence of celestial bodies in relation to others and the Earth have a significant influence on plant growth. This is not new. For example, when writing Hesiod in the eighth century BC stated that the wine is made according to a sign from heaven:
When Orion and the Dog Star pass to the middle of the sky, and sees Arcturus-fingered dawn. (Works and Days II: 609-17)
Vineyards pretending to make wines from grapes grown biodynamic certified by a regulatory agency Demeter (international brands). Demeter is the Greek goddess of agriculture and protector of fruit on earth. The whole vineyard must be converted to biodynamics in wine marketing with the Demeter seal.
Biodynamics has its fair share of skeptics, but can anyone ignore the obvious influence of the moon on the world around us.
Some councils now and enjoy organic wine.
biodynamic wines organic wines that are, in most cases, decanted to benefit both the appearance and taste of wine. Decanting allows appearance by leaving the sediment in the wine at the bottom of the bottle the wine came, not in your glass. Remember that organic wines are often bottled without fining or filtration, so they are likely to contain sediment. It is often a good sign in a wine. Decanting allows wine to breathe and develop all its flavors.
If, after all, you're not convinced, why not add a real good wine merchant to have a small independent wine tasting and seduced by the wine.
