Cocaine Use

Cocaine UseThe consumption of cocaine?

A aquantaince of my family died yesterday of a suspected drug overdose. The mother told my family that his son had white powder all over him when he was found, which we all doubt the cocaine. It is a body builder and was known to use steroids. The mother does not know if it was just the cocaine was the cause, or could steroids have also contributed to his death?

If someone is using anabolic steroids for body building, it puts more stress on the body systems they are not ready to absorb. The organ most commonly affected are the heart. Cardiac arrest due to cocaine or other drugs is not uncommon or a cardiac arrest or respiratory arrest in crises.

An autopsy with toxicology screen is the only sure way to determine what happened. Although the autopsy probably the best guess would be heart failure due to steroid use. Why add the impact of illegal drugs at an already grieving family.

In other words, the steroids were the gun and the bullet, the possible use of cocaine just pulled the trigger.

White powder through it?? Even users of coke serious do not what the quantity. chalk dust sounds a more likely explanation - for more grip at the gym. Yes steroids can kill - if he was known to use then it is by far the most likely cause.

You'll have to wait for the toxicology report to come back for this info.

Do not know is why there is something called an autopsy.

id say both contributed to cause his death, it seemed he had abused his body too, sorry.

Could be either one or both, they must do an autopsy to find the cause. This week, a GUY OVERDOSES ON REDBULL. People should pay attention to what THEY DO.

Steroid use causes depression which could lead to an intentional overdose.

Are they sure that it wasn't Chalkdust've used it on their hands, why do people always think someone worse?

It's always a bad idea to mix two or more drugs together. even alcohol and cocaine is much more dangerous than using one at a time.

cocaine and steroids will both increase blood pressure and heart rate, and is probably the cause of his death.

It is possible that he has used many other drugs.

Steroids are seriously bad for a person if it is used in a manner that is not for medical purposes. Steroids mixed with other illicit drugs are very dangerous. He had a lot in the Sun newspaper now using bodybuilders die by drug use. See

They are wrestlers, but the same thing.

Steroids have contributed to his death, but he probably died of a heart attack. Maybe the white powder was steroids, I think people are too quick to assume. For cocaine "all the more when he was found" would be a very, very expensive habit.

Prolonged use of steroids has led to numerous conditions related to heart. Mostly guys late 30's early 40 fall within the scope of what it tends to catch up. Of course, the combination of drugs is not a good idea either.

Your unlikely to die a little less pure cocaine you take inhumanly quantities of it. My guess is cocaine, and steroids are not the only drug likely to have regularly taken HES.

My condolences.

Im guessing that if he took steroids, he has been in intense exercise? Thus, cocaine speeds up your heart, if you exercise and take cocaine it will be a considerable strain on your heart therfore causing heart attacks and seisures. Steroids should not do this alone, however, mixed with cocaine will again put pressure on your body. hope your good, and ignore some of the derogatory remarks people have written above

There is no way aboslutely.
