Cola Osteoporosis / Risk of Osteoporosis Cola - reversible? Recent studies have suggested that as little as four cans of cola a week may increase the risk of developing osteoporosis in women. I drank more than four cans a day for years. I'll give up now, but nobody knows if the damage is permanent or reversible? So what can I do to help mitigate the increased risk that my consumption of cola over the years can be me? You should talk to your doctor. They determine the risk factors based on family history of osteoporosis. As my mother and my grandmother both had it, so now I'm 40, I get a bone scan every 3 years. I drank too much coke, but not more (more for the weight), but I take a calcium tablet every day very well. They told me that once you are diagnosed with osteoporosis, you can not reverse this trend, which hinder progress as quickly. you should ask your doctor, but calcium tablets are very good for her I'm not sure about that. I guess it reveresible - probably cola ever your body absorbs the calcium they need or something like that - do not know how else it could affect your risk of osteoporosis. thats a good question, but I do not think you should look for the answer to Yahoo, ask yourself that question good luck!
