Decaf Tea Could drinking a cup of decaffeinated tea black cause errors during pregnacy? I thought to impregnation in a few years. I like tea but I do not drink coffee. Would heard drinking decaffeinated black tea was okay. Would drinking a cup of black tea naturally decafinated Peco orange (regular teas) cause miscarriage? I've never heard of a tea cause miscarriage. I drank tea during pregnancy with all three of my children, like my mother, my aunts, my grandmothers, etc. I would not worry about it. The tea is good for you, can not imagine it would hurt the child. I doubt - but make sure you go easy on him, because even decaffeinated coffee and tea contain caffeine in it (just a bit less regular). When I worked in a coffee, decaffeinated we had the same amount of caffeine as one third of a can of Coca-Cola diet. Of course not. DUH! probably not, but I am sure you end someone will tell you that this is only ... or it will give you cancer you can certainly take tea. Decaffeinated coffee is probably a better choice, but you can also take regular tea as long as you limit to only a cup or two a day. My ob told me not to insist on my caffeine intake as it is long it is kept in one or two servings per day (and it's something with a normal amount of caffeine - no double espresso or energy drinks for me ...) No, you should drink decaffeinated drinks fine. A large amount of caffeinated beverages increases the risk of miscarriage. Posted on February 21, 2010.
