Passing through the pain barrier

Nobody likes pain but its there for a purpose. I am a longtime supporter of The Leprosy Mission and one of the things I've discovered about leprosy is that it is not normally the disease that results in a person's fingers or toes falling is the fact that the disease of leprosy cases is a person capable of feeling pain and so they unknowingly get burned badly and do not feel it. The nerve endings have been damaged and therefore can not feel pain at all and results, in most cases are hideous deformations that we now associate with a leper. A leper would feel pain, because they know that the pain is given to us to guard our bodies that something will not need to put right if possible. The pain is not always a bad thing.

I run marathons. Do you think I feel pain when I run a marathon? You bet I do! A marathon is a supreme test of endurance that people can take an average. During the race your body uses all its stores of carbohydrates and other fuels needed body then begins to feed on itself - it is a cannibal, if you wish. It's painful. In addition to this, it is not uncommon to pull a muscle, to develop a light bulb, get a point, hurt your joints or any other number of painful conditions. Your body tells you to stop, which hinders him! In this context, pain is the natural way your body telling you that you are exaggerating - and of course you are. However, we can all "do too much for far longer than we initially think is possible. We can learn to recognize the pain and, while taking steps to minimize, we can always run well on. Spirit on matter if you want.

One of the great acts of heroism I have ever seen was during a marathon, when the representative of Tanzania has dropped during the race was severely injured. He got up and struggled in obvious pain while all other runners have gone on the road in front of him. It was demoralizing for him, but he refused to surrender. He struggled and entered the stadium with only a few people still left in the stands to cheer at home. He finished the race with the blood dripping from his leg injury at the time of taking to the finish line and a television reporter asked why he had not just given up after falling so badly. His response was brilliant. He replied: "My country did not send me here to start a race. They sent me to finish a race! "Too many of us to start the race, but are not committed to finishing.

I am firmly convinced that if a couple accuse one another there will be moments of pain, then they will be better able to cope during a period where it is located. In the Western world, we've been brought up with this strange belief that we must not suffer and therefore, inevitably, when you do hit the painful moments, we did not prepared to handle them properly. I have one friend who lectures on philosophy at universities in many third world countries. He said that a question he never asked in the third world is, "Why does God allow suffering?" The reason is that suffering is such a regular part of their life they can not imagine anyone not suffering. In fact, it is the suffering that makes them the people they are. Can you accept that suffering makes you a better person?

Here are five things we can do when we feel pain in our relationship: -

1. We must recognize that there is pain and try to isolate what is causing.

As we have already said regarding the lepers, the pain has a purpose. He tells us that something is wrong. When you feel pain in our relationship, we must stop and examine why we feel that particular pain. When I was an accountant and had a little more money at my disposal, one of the things I'd W.
