Hungarian Wine What is the best Hungarian wine? (I found some http://www.hungarian-wines.co.uk on)? I would like to buy gift for a friend. Tokaj. It's pretty special. If your friend loves wine desert or Port, then go with a Tokaj Aszu .. Superior "putanyos" means the sweet wine (sweet putanyos is 6). Preferably, no antifreeze! Go to Tokaj. They can go from sweet to semi-dry. With TallPaul about it, Tokay Aszu. Worth spending the extra on a bottle OK as the cheapest may be a disappointment. Tokai is a vine serves very sweet, kind of like ice wine (made very different, but similar taste) and a lot of people do not like too sweet. I have a small glass or chilled with dessert or INSEAD even bake dessert with Tokai. As a gift I recommend somethig else. View Website imports Otto (website below) and search for Kedkfrankos (red, needs to breathe for several minutes as a couple) or Leaˇnyka (white, served cold) Preatty Mutch all the vines they have is really good! Hungarian vineyards have a very unique flavor and body that professionals like to call "earth", this means that the soil is very mature and has been growing vines for hundreds of years. You can enjoy in the vineyard! Make sure to leave Vill seat horizontal for at least one week before the opening if you sent! Posted on March 30, 2010.
