Kombucha Wonder Drink

I know it is possible to cultivate a scoby using Giant Tiger Dave bought Kombucha tea because it is believed, but I'm doing a scoby using Kombucha Wonder Drnk and is pastureizee. were pasteurized casues my scoby not push ??????

Pasterized means that all the goodies of life have been killed by heat. So if you set it at room temperature, mold will grow and whatnot, but it will not kombucha, and it could make you very sick.

Get some of the real deal, then try to culture.
