Is there such a thing as liquor low in calories? I know 80 proof liquor has 100 calories per shot. Out of curiosity, is there such a thing as "diet" or "low calorie" of alcohol?

These guys are all missing the point or I do not answer because there are too many answers already. But nobody got it right. Me do not think there is a low calorie liquor. Beer you because some of the calories from carbohydrates (complex sugars) of beer and alcohol content is relatively low (3-6%) accordingly. Therefore, you can reduce the calories of beer by reducing carbohydrates. Of course, you also reduce the contribution of flavor too. Thats why the beer taste terrible light.
But the real problem is that most of the calories in all alcoholic beverages (no beer) from the alcohol itself. Thats why I think everyone misses the point. They do not include the alcohol calories. (If I remember correctly about 4cal/gram). So you can see that as a liquor containing alcohol calories it has. Sorry
Obviously I have not touched the blends that are added which may also contain calories.

Vodka, whiskey, gin, absinthe, ... are all technically 0 calorie drinks. However metabolizes alcohol into sugar in the blood.
Yes. But every person who meets someone else is wrong. Any flavored liqueur will be rich in sugar.
It is Bicardi Zero (white rum) has also zero carbohydrates.
As for "regime" of alcohol, YES. They certainly do. The problem is that most bars do not carry them. You can find them in the local liquor store. Well, you can if you live in California.
In fact, no ... But Whiskey Scot has less sugar in it than any other beverage distilled ... Especially Single Malt ...
I heard the best drink you can order when you go out is a diet coke with vanilla rum. Cal tasteful and is relatively low.

Is an interesting question. Here are links and information
should help you find the answer. Essentially, the large
difference between light beer and distilled alcoholic beverages carbohydrates.
However, as you drive regularly, you should not be on a low-carb
food, you need carbohydrates for energy. distilled alcohol was also a decrease
number of calories, but it is not important that the level of evidence
becomes higher. The beer has higher levels of sodium, however, if you use
mixers of soda, sodium in a glass of alcohol increases.
