Making Yeast

Making Yeastmilk powder work for making yeast bread?

I make yeast rolls and calls to 1 1 / 2 cups milk. Does the work of powdered milk? or be canned sweetened condensed milk work better? I'm 30 miles from milk and its 25 degrees outside. Go to Store outa the question.

I would use canned sweet milk in powder, but first get a bowl, drain the substance in it and using the can even add 3 / 4 of it with warm water, mix well, then use in your recipe. Do not add any additional sweetener in your bread if it calls for it or it will be too sweet. If you use powdered milk, use 3 / 4 of the water, he said according to the guidelines of the amount you need. Good luck!

Make first 1 1 / 2 cup of milk from milk powder and water according to package directions. The reconstituted milk in cooking excellent work. It would be much closer to the original recipe of using diluted condensed milk or evaporated milk.
