Ed Hardy Bastardizing name of a horrible energy drink
I totally get the Japanese aesthetic whole thing tattoo design. I use flash tattoo as a symbol loaded BS human emotion. But in reality, the crass merchandising of a form of art, any art form is deplorable. It is even more unpleasant when this art form is a subject of underground culture - now usurped that America in general. When Ed Hardy started the tattoo, the concept was so counter culture - whether against the current. Hardy had even mentioned once in an interview that "I liked that he could not be a commodity."
Well now you can not get over the commodification of food and clothing lines very upscale merchandisers by Hardy, which of course have no real connection with Ed Hardy (except for big fat check he receives). Because of Christian Audigier, the same responsible for the death of the image of Von Dutch, transforming it into the cheap shit (and an energy drink crap too). This energy drink is presented as a tattoo "for the language." - This seems very stupid. This drink will not do you any Hipper, fresh or anything anyway cons - so you really need to get a tattoo (btw, impressive Hardy tat shop is still operating in San Fran - http://www.EdHardyGuide. com call for appointment)
Taste: 4
Regarding the drink itself, I was completely impressed. The flavor of the apple was a good market, and has not had a lot to her. I certainly tasted better drinks Apple - that it lightly carbonated does not seem to have a lot of apples. This was not a bad taste, but not very good either.
Buzz / Nutrition: 2
The buzz here was also quite poor. I don t know how much caffeine is here (no mention on the label), but it seems that the momentum the more energy here is corn syrup rich in fructose. I expect to at least have as much caffeine as your average Red Bull / Monster, but got even less to stimulate what it!
And of course, with the Big Sugar Rush is an accident of sugar giant. I was very sleepy after about two hours to drink can. Not to mention, other than taurine, this is not particularly interesting ingredients of energy or nutrition or vitamins to help your energy or health to all.
Packaging: 2
What can I say. silly slogans - and to be a tattoo artist, a giant tiger is really the best they could should I do?? Not only I am not impressed by the use of art in Hardy, I am more than a little offended that even with an artist they can have a look this bad.
Down to the mechanics of the packaging, there are a few slogans blade on one side, the box is only single-sided, lid is not on the front of the right direction and there is no list of caffeine. FAIL
