If you see more than 300 people waiting to board a green, gold and burgundy train at 11:30 or 6:30 p.m. every day, no wonder they go. This is the magnificent Wine Train that takes them to get on a long trip 3:00 joy that is truly unique. This train has caused more controversy than the Hindenburg when it began in September 1989, carried more than 1 million passengers till date.

Most people who take a trip on the Wine Train fire in glorious 3 hours and 36 miles later, after eating the best food, the best wines tasted and seen some of the best vineyards in a region that is picturesque and product the best wine world. Most of these people 370 people that the train can accommodate admit that the adventure through the Napa Valley was well worth the cost of this trip.

The train itself, outside the track, it starts, is beautiful. With its 370 people capacity, is a step backwards in an era of romance and luxury were much appreciated. Each train car is unique and sumptuous. Everyone is given a brochure on access to the train. This promotional brochure Wine Train, which lists more than 60 wineries in Napa Valley. Most wineries that are listed are not visible from the train, but the visible ones are among the best and most interesting. These caves are Trefethen, Domaine Chandon, Cakebread Cellars, Inglenook and Sequoia Grove. The famous vineyards are Robert Mondavi, Beaulieu and a winery history and Grgich Hills. Do not be surprised if a crew member points to a producer or two like Far Niente or creek Conn. At the end of three hours by train, you will be richer in knowledge of vineyards and the wines produced in the Napa Valley area.

The train makes two trips on weekdays and three weekend trips, which includes brunch. The lunch trip which lasts three hours leaves at 11:30, while three and a half hour dinner trip leaves at 6:30 pm. Meals aboard the train of wine are excellent. They correspond to the romantic and luxurious train. A typical breakfast on the train of wine include a salad of lettuce tossed with hazelnut vinaigrette and sherry. The main course could be chicken breast marinated in white wine or black Angus filet mignon with red wine. The pasta is always in the cards.
