Dear Honrable Stephen Harper (or to your MP)

My name is (your name) and I live in (city) (province). I am writing to you because I would like to August 29, Officer Michael Jackson Day in Canada. I think that Michael Jackson deserves to have this day dedicated to him in Canada for the following reasons:

Michael Jackson is the greatest artist of all time. He had so much talent. He could sing, dance, produce, choreographer and he was a humanitarian. When Michael made he gave all of himself. He has influenced many modern artists such as Celine Dion.

Michael Jackson united people across borders and oceans, faces different age groups. Michael Jackson has broken racial barriers. An example is: MTV never played any of the videos with African-Americans to what Michael Jackson has arrived.

Michael Jackson's music has a message. He used his fame and influence to inspire his fans and millions of others around the world to help others. To fight against poverty, disease and hunger. Some titles of his songs are:

- We Are The World
- Heal The World
- Man In The Mirror
Earth Song -
etc. ..

Michael Jackson was the ultimate humanitarian. He gave freely. He never made a big deal of the money he gives. For him, it was not advertising. It was to help those less fortunate. In 1984, when his skull was burned filming a Pepsi commercial, he received 1.5 million dollars in a trial. Michael Jackson has donated all the Michael Jackson Burn Center. At the Victory tour he made five million dollars, which was donated to charity. Michael Jackson co-wrote the song, We Are The World, African outreach. He together 40 other influential singers to help educate the public. All proceeds from the song went to charity. In 1992, he founded the Heal the World Foundation and the entire proceeds from the song Heal the World went to the Foundation. In 2001, after the 9 / 11 attacks helped organize United We Stand, a concert to help 9 / 11. He also wrote the song What can I give for the event. Michael Jackson is also in the Guinness Book of Records for his humanitarian work. He has donated more than $ 300 million to charity. Not to mention the people he helped that we do not know. When Michael Jackson has heard of a girl who needed a liver transplant, and nobody wanted to pay for it, he took care of him. When he traveled to another country, it took time to visit hospitals, orphanages, and cancer patients. D. Jackson
