Rittenhouse Rye

My reading about the Rittenhouse Rye Bourbon 23 years to win the gold medal wine and spirit last year .. Has anyone tasted this basis Rye Bourbon and if so, what are your thoughts on this?? I'm curious how it compares to some of the Bourbons of others out there ..

It is either rye or Bourbon, it can not be both. It's like a vodka rum

First and foremost: Rittenhouse Rye whiskey, rye is NOT a Bourbon.
Bourbon, is to make sour mash of corn and must be done in Kentucky to be called a Bourbon.
Rittenhouse rye is made in Kentucky by Heaven Hill Distilleries in Bardstown is Elijah Craig location, but it does it is a bourbon.
