Sunkist Soda Soda Drink and pay the consequences Copyright (c) 2008 Steve Dimeck Many people drink soda. Some more than others. And although many soda drinkers are probably aware of the health hazards of drinking, they still tend to ignore the facts. But why, one wonders? The answer is very simple. It is very tasty and it is everywhere. In addition to that, sodas are very popular and widely consumed in part because companies promote them vigorously. The marketing of brainwashing done an excellent job of burning in the minds of reasons why people need to drink soda. It's cheap, it's cool, it becomes a habit and not to mention becoming addicted to the caffeine in these drinks. However, do you know how these drinks, caffeine, sugar and artificially sweetened beverages affect your body? Giving up soda can be one of the best things you can do to improve your health. But again, why, one wonders? Firstly, they are useless. Other than satisfy your taste buds, they provide no nutrition to your body. Even if some of them say they contain minerals or vitamins, they are just synthetic replicas, or in other words, chemicals or inorganic substances. And how obesity? Even if the soda industry successfully battles the issue by showing that it appears to be influenced studies that there is no solid scientific evidence demonstrating this, the reality is still real. Obesity is a steady increase. The relationship between soft drink consumption and body weight is so strong that even the researchers calculated that for each additional soda consumed, the risk of obesity increases 1.6 times. And do not forget the risk of diabetes tooth decay, weakened bones, liver and kidneys, hypertension, heartburn, dehydration, digestive system disorders and even cancer. The Internet is filled with reports of these health problems and even more that these soft drinks could give you. It is a poison in a box. In addition, adolescents and children who grow up drinking these beverages do not think long term. And what happens when these soft-drinking people become young or middle-aged adults and they have osteoporosis, physical inactivity and obesity? Right now, the passage of water, milk or fruit juice may be too little, too late. Looking for a British university suggests a common preservative E211, known as sodium benzoate, found in these drinks has the ability to shut down vital parts of DNA, or in other words damaged cells body. Sodium benzoate occurs naturally in small quantities in berries, but it is used in large quantities to prevent mold in soft drinks. Therefore, completely eliminating sodas from your drinking habits may be one of the best things you can do. For soda to drink, you cut the consumption of fresh fruit juices, milk, and even water and deprive themselves of vitamins and minerals. Posted on January 22, 2010.
