The global social media campaign centers on an interactive Web site informative and highly entertaining animated learning modules web. The campaign concept is based on the Bank's strategy of preventive intervention. "As there is no cure or vaccine for HIV, the only way to fight against the virus is to prevent new HIV infections - is stopping people getting the virus first, or prevent people who are HIV + from forward. Education is a key element in achieving this: the knowledge of the facts allows people to make safe choices, "said Vanessa Green, who heads the Bank HIV and AIDS education program.
