How can I find the score for a wine? I have no idea about the grading of wine, is that really show the quality of wine?
and also I do not know where to find these rankings,
The other problem is that I am now in Ontario Canada and I can not get what I want from the LCBO.
I would appreciate if you help me.
You can get odds at any decent wine shop. The Wine Spectator is one of a multitude of journals that give assessments report.
Check your local bookstores, have a seat and thumb in the monthly. There are dozens of magazines that will tell you later. Some will have a schedule of tastings.
The thought to keep in mind is that these notes are the subjective opinions of tasters. Once in the world of all things grape, you'll here bickering about who has the taste buds, nose and skills. This is the best reason to attend wine tastings. Decide for yourself. Many shops and renowned wineries have tasting. Check with them and ask about local groups that gather and hold their own tastings. Some supply of wine, others require that you bring a vintage year for the group to taste.
I hope this helps.
Go to a liquor store and ask the owner. The clerks may not know, but if you have a really great store, the clerk may be the case.
