Yerba Mate Tea

I do not really know what is the difference between regular tea and yerba (taste-wise), green tea and black tea and I like Earl Gray, Gray Lady, prince of whales etc, but they compare to all of yerba mate ? What are the best brands and types?

Yerba mate is a grass or hay as in the taste, the effects are stimulants like coffee without hanging. I am a tea lover! Yerba mate is from Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. It is a green tea with caffeine high. I recommend you buy a bottle and Bombilla (straw bowl and traditionally used in South America to share with other mate)! The tea is relatively cheap to buy online, my favorite shop is located in the United States to www.ma-tea.com. Black tea, my favorite is Orange Pekoe. Rooibos is a red tea from Africa, it is not mate. Green Tea Gunpowder like (small leaves are rolled into little bullet like shape, very strong taste) for all of these I shop at www.coffeeam.com as they sell loose tea leaf. Personally, I think you should stick to all the teas that you have listed and try Yerba Matte Tea Latte form.

I love tea, too, but frankly, yerba mate is quite bitter in my opinion. I only tried one brand, so I can not tell you if one is better than another. The one I tried is Mendo Mate.
